Sensibo makes your existing air conditioner smart and connected! Sensibo is an external device that you pair your remote controlled air conditioner with. Sensibo will work with the majority of infra-red based HVAC systems whether it is a mini split, window AC, ductless, portable, heat pump and even central air conditioners. 

The Chowmain driver for Sensibo communicates to Sensibo via the Sensibo Cloud API which enables full two way control and feedback over room temperature, humidity, setpoints, hvac mode, fan speeds and swing. 

Chowmain has integrated the range of TP-Link Wifi based Smart Home products into Control4 with two way control and feedback.  This provides easy to retrofit solutions for indoor / outdoor smart plug control, power strip control, inwall outlet/switch/dimmer control and also LED bulb/strip control.  The hardware is extremely affordable with outlets starting at $24.99, bulbs at $19.99, light switches at $39.99 and power strips at $79.99 MSRP.  It definately adds value to any Control4 installation.

Tank Utility manufactures battery operated WiFi devices which monitor propane tank levels. Integrated into Control4 this ensures that your house responds to different levels of propane. This can be used to inform the home owner upon low levels or Control4 can be programmed to turn off unnecessary loads to preserve energy during a power outage.

The Videostorm IRUSB device allows us to control any Android set-top box including the Nvidia Shield, Amazon Fire TV, Foxtel Now, Xiaomi MiBox and more.

The Chowmain IRUSB module is designed to control Android Set-Top Boxes via IP with the help of the Videostorm IRUSB device. This allows you to utilize the URC remotes to navigate the Nvidia Shield box and control applications as you would with a normal Nvidia Shield remote.

Note that this driver requires a product called the Videostorm IRUSB be installed along with the associated IRUSB application from Google or  Amazon stores (does not require root).

The driver can also detect audio from the Android set-top box and automatically turn the room onto the correct input. Use this with the included Chromecast functionality for the Nvidia Shield, Xiaomi Mibox or Foxtel Now Android TV boxes and you will a fully automated experience with the ability to control the casted control with your SR-260 remote control.

The Chowmain IRUSB driver for ELAN provides IP control over the IRUSB with keyboard text entry, direct app launching, transport controls and more.

It adds additional IR outputs to ELAN by replicating the Global Cache protocol allowing for control over local IR devices via the built-in ELAN Global Cache drivers.

Lastly, it also can detect when audio starts and stops.  This is useful for automated selection of the device for Android TV boxes that have Chromecast built-in.  Now you can cast YouTube, Netflix or Stan via your mobile phone/tablet or by voice using Google Home and have ELAN automatically select the box as a source with full transport control over the casted content.

Chowmain’s Command to Event driver for ELAN allows ELAN programmers to override existing remote control buttons to fire event maps.

This lets the programmers to be more creative in the solutions they provide their customers to add extra functionality.

For example they can make a one way IR bluray driver dim lights when the play, pause or stop buttons are pressed on the remotes.

Another example is that they can assign a hard button to toggle a light on and off or perhaps create a macro to execute a sequence of commands.

This driver is built specifically for those Muslim Control4 home owners who want to program their home for adhan (or azan) - the call to prayer which happens 5 times a day.

This driver will utilise latitude and longitude co-ordinates along with the timezone to return the prayer times to Control4 from the aladhan website.

We also expose a few other events that are significant.

Many Jewish people who strictly observe Shabbat refrain from what turning electricity on or off during this period. They may also refrain from making adjustments to the intensity of electrical appliances.

The Chowmain Hebcal module for URC imports data from Hebcal.com. This module helps by automating detection of Jewish holidays and your standard Shabbat (observed from a few minutes before sunset on Friday evening until the appearance of three stars in the sky on Saturday night). By firing these events it assists with notification of Candle lighting (18 minutes before sundown) and Havdalah (after the appearance of three stars in the sky) along with the automation of electronic devices during this period.

Advantage Air is an Australian based HVAC manufacturer based in Perth, Western Australia that sells HVAC systems in Australia and South Africa.  MyAir is Advantage Air’s premium reverse cycle air conditioning system with 10 zones and individual room airflow control.

Chowmain’s MyAir driver for Control4 will work with all models of MyAir by providing two way control and feedback.

The Scheduler webview driver for Control4 provides end users with the ability to schedule pre-setup presets/macros via the T3 touchscreen.

We have designed the scheduler to look, feel and operate in a similar manner to the Control4 thermostat scheduler.  You can setup a repeating schedule which will repeat on a weekly basis or setup a one off schedule that will only operate once and will remove or disable itself after it executes.

The Contact Us webview driver for Control4 provides dealers with a professional looking contact us page on the T3 touchscreen with customisable company logo, company contact details, google map and clickable URL to the company website.

This adds the final touch to a professionally installed system and provides dealers with a cheap way of marketing their company to people who utilise the touchscreen.

The TinyControl PDU module is for control of the TinyControl range of IP power sockets. These units provide individual control of up to 6 sockets and up to 4 temperature sensors.

The module shows the current status of all the sockets ans has the ability to toggle them on and off. The name shown on the buttons reflects the name given in the configuration of the PDU. You can toggle any of the outlets on or off from this screen.

Tinycontrol offer budget IP controlled rack mount power control for the EU market. Chowmain have created a Control4 driver to control the range of IP power sockets made by Tinycontrol.
