HTI Customs has been working with, installing and programming Control4 systems since the days of 1.8.2. Weve been there to watch and participate in all the growth and changes of the platform and the struggles. We started making our own custom lua drivers around 2012 for our projects as needed. We were inspired by the existing 3rd party driver developers at Recluse AV, Houselogix and ExtraVegetables (To those of you who may be seeing this, You all rock! and may have inspired more than just me. So thank you for all you did, and all that you helped create, to make the ecosystem that much better!). We decided we wanted to create our own unique brand and style of drivers so thats just what we did. Our first commercially release product was our Roku driver. The first proxy based mini app launcher that dramatically reduced dealer programming time and introduced "Watch Netflix" to the Control4 UI. Which eventually evolved and grew into the first relaible 2 way feedback RokuTV driver. A we continued to grow and evolve we started co-developing manufacturer drivers that have been listed on manufacturer websites and the Control4 online database. We love feedback and feature requests. we do this for YOU. Our drivers grow and get better because of YOU. Do you have an idea for a driver to do something crazy with your system. With our Dealer Toolz line of drivers we added the little things to fill the gap, while the vast majority of our Dealer Toolz lineup is obsolete and native to Control4, we have started a new direction in driver development.

Our core focus is to deliver home owner facing solutions. The self service Control4 community can leverage our drivers to make better use of their system and investment. Our drivers have them in mind. While some aspects and functions cannot be made client facing, we strive to put as much control in their hands as we can and are always up to the task to implement the changes needed to better serve them.
