Hikvision DS-K2604

Overview

This driver has been designed to work with the Hikvision DS-K2604 Network Access Controller.

Hikvision’s DS-K260x-G Series Access Controller is supplied with the latest structure TCP/IP and RS-485 communication interface. Communication data is encrypted to improve system security. The controller also supports offline operation and is designed with a tamper-resistant switch.

The driver allows discrete control over each door, feedback on the state of the door and lock status and events the doors being opened or closed and also for valid card reads.

FAQ

What cool things can I do with this?
Not only can you use RTI to open and monitor the doors, but you can force doors open or closed, use the events when someone asks for the door to be open or closed to trigger custom automation, even trigger events on valid card reads if you're using the prox readers.

I want to use this in a MDU job.  Is there any limitations?

The system will only allow a single connection at any time.  As such you should dedicate one main RTI system for communications to the hardware.  You can use our system to system driver to tie multiple systems to the main system to get control and feedback.
