FAQ

Why does the scene fade time not the same as the Physical light's fade timing?

The RAMP level of the Clipsal are pre-defined values and it is not identical to the Crestron Home light's fade time. The driver will match lighting's fade time either up to or lower Ramp level depending which one are closest.

After adding new dimmers on the clipsal C-BUS, the devices are not available in the Crestron Home Setup App?

In the initial setup, the Poll time was defaulted to 5 minutes, you can change this value to make it longer or shorter to suit your needs. The poll timer are used to update the devices. Once the timer elapsed, the devices will appear if the configuration has been setup correcting. Clipsal Recommend polling the C-BUS every few minute, please refer to the manual for more information.

Does this driver support communication with remote C-Bus networks?

The current driver does not support commands to and from remote C-Bus networks. We are planning to support this in a future release.

Does Auto Setup work on the newer Clipsal modules?

The Discovery process used is not supported by the newer Clipsal units (DALI Gateway, Digital Dimmers etc). We are currently investigating on how to support this moving forward.

Can I add my own devices by inputting the addresses?

The current driver has no support for this at the moment, but this is a planned feature.
