Homemation Single WebRelay Driver

WebRelay is an electrical relay (or electrical switch) with a built-in web server. The relay can be turned on, off, or pulsed from this driver. The WebRelay has a long history of reliable operation in many applications including remote reboot, industrial control, security, & remote control & monitoring.

This works great with the Control4 MDU solution to open & sense a main gate or door of a complex.

This driver is specifically for Single Relay & Contact Unit. Model numbers starting with X-WR-1R12 (https://www.controlbyweb.com/webrelay/)

It is required that you either give the WebRelay a Static IP Address or set a static reservation on your Router so that the IP Address remains the same.

Composer Properties:

• Driver Version: The current version of the driver
• Activation Status: This will display the activation status of the driver to the DriverCentral servers via the DriverCentral Cloud Driver (https://help.drivercentral.io/407519-Cloud-Driver).
• Automatic Updates: Enable or Disable Automatic Updates for this driver.
• Last Poll Received: Last poll date & time received from the WebRelay.
• Relay State: Displays if the relay is currently Open or Closed.
• Input State: Displays if the contact is currently Open or Closed.
• Reboot State: When the WebRelay is set as a Automatic Reboot Controller this will display the current state of the Reboot Controller (Automatic Reboot is not usually with Control4).
• Total Reboots: This field indicates the number of times WebRelay has automatically rebooted the device that it is controlling.
• Control Password: The WebRelay should be password protected. This is where you set the password so that Control4 can communicate with the WebRelay.
• Pulse Length Override (ms): Control4 has a maximum pulse length of 1000ms on their older Motorization drivers. This allows you to ignore the pulse time set in the Motorization driver and set it in the WebRelay driver. If you set this to 0 (default setting) it will take the time set in the Motorization driver connected. If set to a number greater than 0 the pulse time will be overridden.
• Sensor Poll timer (s): The WebRelay does not “push” an update to Control4 immediately but has to be polled for its current contact state. This setting allows you to set how often Control4 will poll the WebRelay for the current state of the Contact Input.
• Debug: This is for troubleshooting & should only be enabled when requested by support.

Composer Connections

• Control/AV Connections: The WebRelay has a RELAY & CONTACT_SENSOR connection which allows you to bind the WebRelay to any of the Control4 Contact & Relay drivers. 

• Network Connections: To connect the Driver enter the IP Address of the WebRelay to the Identify Windows in Composer
