Our PTZ control offers full Pan, Tilt, and Zoom functionality for Hikvision cameras within the Control4 interface. Users can select preset positions for quick adjustments and easily create, modify, rename, and reorder these presets directly from the Control4 UI. This makes it simple for customers to customize and control their camera’s view in real-time, offering greater flexibility and convenience for monitoring any area.

Our driver allows you to create custom buttons that can trigger specific actions directly from the Control4 interface. You can easily configure these buttons to perform tasks such as moving the camera to specific positions or triggering events. Custom buttons are fully customizable—you can name, reorder, and modify them anytime within the Control4 UI. This gives both dealers and customers powerful control over camera functions and automation.

All Hikvision Cameras and NVR. Driver uses the ISAPI for communication and communicates locally between the Control4 system and the IP address of the camera/NVR.

This driver is compatible with Control4 2.10 and OS3

Note: Limitation with OS2.10.x - OS3.3.1.  Driver does not support PTZ controls (if this is required for a project, please contact us).

• Can I control the NVR from this driver?
  This driver listens for event triggers from the NVR and connected cameras.

• I have cameras on the NVR (separate LAN), can this driver display them on Control4?
  Yes! The driver uses the NVR's video gateway to display any connected camera.

• Can I connect directly to Hikvision IP cameras?
  Yes, simply select the direct connection option in the camera driver.

• Having trouble connecting to the camera?
  Ensure your password doesn’t contain the characters @, /, ?, or spaces.

• Where can I get support?

• Do I need a 4Sight/Connect license for email alerts?
  No, email alerts do not require a 4Sight or Connect license.

• How many emails can I send per day?
  The driver allows up to 50 emails per day. For more, use the Cindev Email+ Agent.

• Can I customize Push notifications and emails?
  Yes, both can include dynamic variables and custom subject lines.

• How many Custom Buttons can I create?
  You can create as many Custom Buttons as needed and modify them directly in the Control4 UI.

• Can the NVR driver control what’s displayed on the video output?
  No, the API does not support this. If this is a feature you need, please email us so we can communicate this to Hikvision.

• What is the maximum number of cameras supported?
  The driver can support up to the maximum number of channels on your Hikvision NVR.

• Does the driver support PTZ functionality?
  Yes, it offers full Pan, Tilt, and Zoom control, along with creating, renaming, and reordering presets.

• Can I receive email notifications for events?
  Yes, email notifications are supported for event triggers such as motion detection.

• Are there any Control4 OS version requirements?
  The driver works best with Control4 OS 3.4.2+ for full functionality, though basic features work on earlier versions.
