The Daylight Dimming driver automatically sets the ideal brightness level for lights in a Control4 system—so every light turns on at the right level for the time of day or ambient conditions, with no programming required.
It enhances the user experience without taking away control. Homeowners can adjust lights at any time, while the driver ensures every light starts exactly where it should.
Smart, Flexible Control
Three operating modes allow the driver to adapt to virtually any installation:
Time of Day
Automatically adjusts brightness throughout the day using up to eight customizable time periods. No sensors or additional hardware required.
Device Variable
Uses a lux value—or any numeric variable—from another device to determine brightness. Ideal for integrating with sensors, weather data, or other system inputs.
Light Follower
Directly links to a light sensor through Composer Pro for real-time brightness adjustments. Supports both legacy ambient sensors and Control4 Lux devices.
