The LOOKin Remote is an affordable solution to expand your smart home.  With built in wi-fi functionality you can place LOOKin Remote anywhere and utilize it’s built in infra-red blaster, infra-red receiver, temperature / humidity sensor and Bluetooth keyboard / remote emulator to control multiple devices around your home.

What device can I utilise Bluetooth for?

Bluetooth control is perfect for set top boxes which can pair bluetooth keyboards such as

What is the IR input used for?

The device can detect IR codes when a remote it pointed to it.  As such you can utilise 3^rd party remote controls to execute programming commands within Control4.

What is the IR output used for?

You can expand Control4’s IR outputs using the built in IR blaster.  Bind any IR driver and the Lookin Remote will fire the IR code on demand.  Note that it is a blaster and as such needs to be in the line of sight of the device it needs to control.  Bundle it with our generic relay, generic fan speed or generic lighting driver to control non AV based devices.

How do I utilise the temperature and humidity sensors?

You can bind the tempeature and humidity sensors to any driver with the correct bindings.  For example the temperature display driver for Control4 will allow for bindings to display the values in Navigator.

Can i change the icon?

The driver can change the icon associated with it with some of the most popular devices we've tested the driver with.  Note that it is across all instances so if you change the icon for once driver it'll effect all driver instances.
