LIFX (pronounced Life-X) is a line of energy-efficient, multi-color, Wi-Fi enabled LED lighting products that can be controlled via a Wi-Fi equipped device such as a smartphone or smartwatch.

The LIFX driver for Control4 allows for two way control and feedback of all LIFX products including bulbs, strips, beams, tiles and more.

Chowmain is proud to announce Xiaomi Dafang / Wyze Pan / Wyze Cam V2 / Xiaofang 1S / Neos Smart Cam driver for Control4 with Pan/Tilt/Preset functionality and JPEG/H264 based video.  This USB powered indoor camera is extremely affordable (starts from $20 USD MSRP) and can be retrofit almost anywhere since it is Wifi based.  This is all achieved via the installation of a custom firmware which provides compatibility.

The Daikin Airbase BRP15B61 lets you control your Daikin ducted or SkyAir system via apps on your phone or tablet.  This module is easily can be easily retrofit without installation of new wiring as it is powered by (and communicates via) the Daikin P1 and P2 bus terminals and communicates via wifi.

Thanks to Chowmain the Airbase is now integrated into Control4 for full two way control and feedback over  temperature, HVAC mode, setpoint, fan speed and zone control.  We have also added additional functionality to the driver to handle presets and scheduling internally.

eGauge is an affordable, flexible, secure, web-based electric energy and power meter that can measure up to 30 circuits. It is used to measure and record total building electrical consumption, solar, wind, consumption of individual circuits, such as appliances or geothermal system pumps, and motors.

The Chowmain eGauge driver provides live data feedback from the eGauge unit. This data can be viewed on the Control4 T3 touch screens. The data can be used in Control4’s programming as variables or have a minimum and maximum event trigger set in the driver itself. This provides live automated responses to changes in energy usage.

The Videostorm IRUSB device allows us to control any Android set-top box including the Nvidia Shield, Amazon Fire TV, Foxtel Now, Xiaomi MiBox and more.

The Chowmain IRUSB module is designed to control Android Set-Top Boxes via IP with the help of the Videostorm IRUSB device. This allows you to utilize the URC remotes to navigate the Nvidia Shield box and control applications as you would with a normal Nvidia Shield remote.

Note that this driver requires a product called the Videostorm IRUSB be installed along with the associated IRUSB application from Google or  Amazon stores (does not require root).

This driver is built specifically for those Muslim Control4 home owners who want to program their home for adhan (or azan) - the call to prayer which happens 5 times a day.

This driver will utilise latitude and longitude co-ordinates along with the timezone to return the prayer times to Control4 from the aladhan website.

We also expose a few other events that are significant.

BenQ provides a standard set of serial based commands that work across their range of projectors.

This driver is based on those commands which allows us to control all BenQ projectors.
